What IS First Federal's Mortgage
Rate Widget?

Yahoo! Widget Engines and
Widgets.
Yahoo! created a downloadable free tool called a “widget
engine”. Widget
engines allow computer users to download very small files, called
widgets,
to reside on their computer’s desktops. These files
connect to data sources
to bring the most current information to the user’s
fingertips.
Thousands of downloadable widgets have been created displaying
things such
as calculators, clocks, local weather, stock quotes, and now --
First Federal’s
own Mortgage Rate Widget. Easily change the look and feel of
Widgets as they
are fully customizable. View all the different Widgets that are
available at the
Yahoo! Widget Gallery.

How can I add First Fed’s Mortgage Rate
Widget to my
computer?
Widgets require the Yahoo! Widget Engine which can be downloaded
from the
Yahoo! Widget
Gallery. If you already have the Yahoo! Widget
Engine, right
click here. Choose “Save Target As . . .” or
“Save Link As . . .” from the menu
that appears. When the “Save” window appears, choose
the directory My Documents > My Widgets and click
“OK”.
Do not have the Yahoo! Widget Engine? If you don’t have
the Widget Engine,
please install it now. It is downloadable free at the
Yahoo! Widget
Gallery.
After you have installed the Widget Engine, right
click here and choose “Save
Target As. . .” or “Save Link As . . .” from
the menu that appears. When the
“Save” window appears, choose the directory My
Documents > My Widgets
and click “OK”.

How do I set up First Federal's Mortgage Rate
Widget to provide me with personalized
information?
Once you have downloaded the Widget and it’s running on
your computer’s
desktop, you can modify the rates that are displayed so they
match your exact criteria. To do that, click on the green
triangle in the upper right-hand corner.
The criteria screen will appear. Answer all the questions, and
click “Go”. The
Widget will update the rates displayed and will use the answers
you provided to update the rate information every hour!
